Getting a Server ID

A Server ID is required to register for
and complete this RBS training course.

To have your course completion reported to the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC), you must provide us with your Server ID number. Your Server ID is how ABC tracks your course completion and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification. It's also how your employer can verify the validity of your RBS certification.

Getting a Server ID from ABC is easy! Before registering for this course, simply…

  1. Sign up for your server account via the ABC's Responsible Beverage Service Portal.
  2. Once you have a Portal account, sign in and pay the state-required examination fee. You'll be issued Server ID, which you can find in your Portal dashboard (it's the nine-digit "ID Number").
  3. Note your Server ID and return to AffordableRBSCourse.com to register for RBS training. You'll be asked to enter your Server ID as part of your course registration.
